Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Webhaven team ("we", "us" or "our") collects and uses personal information when you visit webhaven.dpdns.org (the "website") or contact us about a project.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Webhaven, a two-person web development team serving businesses in Lebanon. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at webhavenn@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the project inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, the service you're interested in and your project details. You can also choose to share your phone or WhatsApp number, business name, current website, budget and timeline. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and the contents of your messages.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the service that hosts this website may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited and when. This is used to keep the website secure and working.
Cookies. The website code does not set cookies or include analytics or advertising trackers. Third-party services you choose to use, such as Formspree and WhatsApp, handle information under their own policies.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss your project
- To prepare a quote and, if we work together, to deliver the project, communicate with you and send invoices
- To keep records we're required to keep by law, such as for tax and accounting
- To keep this website secure and prevent spam or misuse
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we won't add you to a mailing list without your permission.
4. Legal basis for using your information
Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data protection law applies to our processing, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Steps before a contract: when you ask about a project or request a quote
- Contract: when we work together on a project
- Legal obligation: when we need to keep records for tax or accounting
- Legitimate interests: when we reply to general messages and keep the website secure
5. Who we share it with
Both members of the Webhaven team may access inquiries and project information to respond to you and carry out agreed work. Apart from cases where we are legally required to share it, we share information with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as much as they need to provide their service:
- Form processing: Formspree receives and stores inquiry form submissions and forwards them to our email.
- Website hosting: the hosting provider serves the website and may process technical request data to operate and secure it.
- Email: Google (Gmail) stores the emails we exchange.
- WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
These providers may store and process data on servers in other countries, so your information may be transferred outside the country where you live.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact form inquiries for up to 2 months after our last communication, and then delete them. The only exceptions are when the information is needed for an ongoing client project or to meet a legal obligation.
If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as needed to complete the work, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
- receive your information in a portable format
To make a request, email webhavenn@gmail.com.
Requests under Lebanese law. Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data sets these time limits:
- If you ask us to correct, complete, update or delete personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or no longer needed, we'll make the required changes free of charge within 10 days of your request (Article 101).
- If you ask to see the personal data we hold about you, or ask for a correction, we'll respond within 10 working days (Article 107).
Requests under other laws. If a different law applies to you, we'll respond within the time limit that law sets.
Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to a data protection authority or take the matter to court.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using secure (HTTPS) connections and reputable service providers. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, such as WhatsApp and any live websites shown in our portfolio. Those websites are run by their owners, who are responsible for how they handle your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
